I’m moving to Wales soon, but I intend to spend the majority of my vacations in Russia or Turkey. What are the cultures like? How difficult would it be for someone raised in California (by open-minded parents, though) to fit in if they made an effort to learn the language and customs?
What are Eastern Europe and Turkey like?
I want to go on vacation and I held a “vacation tourney bracket” by myself at work today to decide?
So yeah, I held a little “vacation tourney bracket” today at work, and I considered Greece, Spain, England, France, New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Russia/Eastern Europe, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Egypt, India, Switzerland, Germany and Peru.
Now, my budget, I want to be under $2,000 as much as possible! I’m going alone. I’m not a baller or anything.
I considered my Final Four to be England, New York City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I considered India, France, Switzerland and Greece to be part of my Elite 8.
Now, I like history and the outdoors a lot. I was thinking Greece and France would be knockouts for me, but I’m worried about the price. The Greek historical sites to me, would be amazing, along with the scenery, but I’m worried about the country and whether or not it would be fun. France seems like a knockout based on the various battlegrounds from all throughout history, Southern France and Paris.
I’ve always wanted to go to England too, and was thinking of a combination of the two.
Of course, Las Vegas, NYC and Los Angeles are also being considered by me. I’ve never been to Vegas or been into Los Angeles(stopped over on a flight one time, nothing more). I’ve been to NYC, but never alone and I never saw anything of interest there really.
Where should I go?
For the 2014 Winter Olympics, how do they plan on doing it in Sochi, Russia, because of its warm climate?
Sochi is a tropical city, a resort in Russia. They go there for vacations. I know from 1st hand accounts.
Also, According to Wikipedia
Sochi has a humid subtropical climate (Koppen climate classification Cfa) at the lower elevations, with an average January temperature of 6 °C (42.8 °F) and winter temperatures rarely falling below freezing. The average summer high temperature ranges between 25 °C (77 °F) and 28 °C (82.4 °F) with occasional extreme heat in some interior locations exceeding 40 °C (104 °F).
How are they going to the winter olympics in a tropical city? Not all of Russia is a pile of snow. Alternatively, they could’ve chosen St. Petersburg or Moscow.

What is an easy mode of transportation for an international vacation?
Some time next year I want to take a trip to Vladimir,Russia for about 2 weeks and I was wondering if it would be easier to rent a car, take a bus, or go by train? I know I will have to get a flight to Moscow and then travel from there to Vladimir, how should I go about getting there and getting around once I arrive? Also will I need and international drivers license in Vladimir?
If godis so evidentthat we r w/oexcuse 4 notbelieving thenexplain y beliefs r concentrated in different places
in america appx 90% of population is christian as were most of their parents grandparent and so on.
But appx 1 billion people are atheists in the world with about 750 mil living in China(1.2bil) and Russia(150mil), where communist governments attempted to eradicate religious beliefs by telling people from birth that there was no god
this means that more than half of the religion in these nations was wiped out in less than a century b/c thats what people were taught to believe
also consider nations like afganistan where religion is widespread but a very small number are christian.
according to the bible all these people are going to hell and according to the argument i am debating they are w/o excuse
the point i am making is that most people take their religios beliefs from what they r told, whether it is in america at vacation bible school or in russia by a government employed teachers is irrelevant
do you really think that so many westerners r smart and so many others r so dumb?
