In all elections the turning point for Democratic candidates is the end of primariries and the beginning of general election phase. Why?
Because in primaries liberal candidates hold debates, and try to outspend each other, I will give everyone free this, free that and extra $10,000 check in additon to all that. Natuarally they do not challenge each other on where the money would come from.
And here comes the GOP nominee, who does not hesitate to ask:
“Very well, Sir, and who will pay for all this?”
Oh here we goooo…. America is no longer the force of nature it once was. You gonna pick a fight with Russia!!! Lets ee you then? I’ll just tell my son he can forget his future…
Yeah, that reminds me of when the John Edwards story broke so,
Okay, now get jiggy with it!
Cheater’s Rap
John Edwards talked about Dad’s mill,
While sleeping with a ***** off the pill,
He lied and fibbed to the MS press,
And, awoke early to preen and dress.
John’s wife, Elizabeth, ate the lie in ‘06,
But supported John in Iowa while sick,
They stole Hillary’s honest votes daily,
And laughed on cue while hiding Rielle.
Why did John lie like a cheatin’ rat ?
No “New Deal” for the average Democrat,
While Obama and Hillary fought on the stump,
John Edwards watched Rielle grow a bump.
John begged the papers, don’t print the story,
Knowing Iowans condemn the whorey,
Come on, McClatchy, be a good sport,
And don’t be tipping off the Drudge Report.
Now John’s love child is common news,
And Fred Baron has money to lose,
Rielle, now nursing, has jetted away,
Even Geraldo has joined the fray!
John’s affair has hurt his poor kids,
More than Clinton’s cigars ever did,
A sordid tale that some call a crock,
The only winner, a loser named Barack!
Like dogs in heat, Edwards did pant,
Defined forever, just like Hugh Grant,
Tabloids paid to get the sleaze,
Is it John’s baby, mister please?
Vote for John Edwards, give me chills,
Meet you for *** in Beverly Hills,
John, don’t need to prove you ain’t a gay,
Just pony up to compare your DNA.
See Barack in Hawaii like Bobby Vinton,
Unaware the DNC plans to elect a Clinton,
Edwards may face time from the tax man,
But not if a pardon is part of Obama’s plan.
While Elizabeth cried over her brood,
Baby mama with John was not a prude,
Gone the innocent days of Tom Sawyer,
John gettin’ love like a real trial lawyer.
Obama has had more than one. The biggest was his “dog and pony” show in Europe, when it was exposed that he had hired the TWO most famous German Bands for the free concert, then tried to make it look like it was because he was so “popular”. Then the troop issues, the lie to the Israelis, the plane painting and just so much more. That was when he first started dropping even while the press was belittling McCain for an interview in front of a vegetable stand.
Since then, although he should have been ahead by a significant margin, he has been FALLING and now remains tied.
There’s still “more” troubles for Obama so I’m not overly concerned about the Polls right now.
When you think about it Obama’s entire campaign has been one slow ride into political oblivion. When he loses and he will he will go around acting like some self appointed presidential advisor his rhetoric is wearing thin on his buddies in the senate many of whom view him as the boy with the silver spoon and secretly despise his spoon fed rise to stardom.
And the Russians have claimed that the Georgia offensive on South Ossetia was more about the American election – which your question does seem to suggest there was a Bush “motive”
it happened long before that, remember hillary won the last half on the primaries, his “followers” actually are starting to think, what are we following? he has changed his stance on offshore drilling, tax increases ect,as for stopping the politics of hate,he is leading it,i thought libs were for womens rights? this shows what they really are made of..oh people with big ears shouldnt make pig jokes
I agree that he looked weak on foreign policy. An ally is invaded and he couldn’t even take a break from the beach for a televised news conference.
Saying that, I am not exactly happy with how Palin handled her interview either. However, she is not at the top of the ticket. And, I have to remember that when Bill Clinton ran for office, that he had about as much foreign policy experience as she does. For heavens sake, I couldn’t remember the Bush Doctrine either. And, before Barack Obama was a Senator, he hadn’t met with a foreign head of state either.
Where Palin changed her stance, then she should have said so bluntly. For example, on global warming – everyone has changed their stance who wasn’t already thinking it was man-made. I don’t know of a reputable politician that would argue otherwise. She had too many people telling her what to say and I hope that she gets to the point in her interviews with more confidence.
In a way you are right, I think. It’s not that much about where Obama was. Anybody could be on vacation. But it was his instincts, his first reaction. Here is how Rudy Giuliani puts it, albeit on a different topic:
“… And nearly 130 times, he couldn’t make a decision. He couldn’t figure out whether to vote “yes” or “no.” It was too tough.
He voted — he voted “present.”
On Russian invasion into Georgia he did precisely that. Voted “present”.
And by the way, no matter what Russians say about it, but before planning such actions, they undoubtedly considered US response. Nobody can afford being seriously at odds with the US for a long time. Longer than a few months. What Russians fear the most today, after they got what they wnted is McCain being a president. On the other hand US just being “present” and “delegating” the future of Georgia to the UN Security Council is precisely what they want.
Things are turning around.
Don’t worry.
well next time Russia will wait until he get back home…because they actually care what McCain and Obama do
He wasn’t the president at the time so why does it matter?
i didn’t know he was president yet.
There was no random turning point.

And at this moment the liberal is TOAST.
That did not help, but I think the real turning point was after Palin gave her speech and it appealed to independents and flagging conservatives.
Axelrod wasn’t there to spoonfeed him the answers. It was too funny that it took 3 days and 3 tries to get it right and copy McCain’s instant answer!
Zerobama’s day 2 answer is an all-time classic! he said we should leave it up to the U.N. not knowing that Russia has veto power in the U,N.!
Oh here we goooo…. America is no longer the force of nature it once was. You gonna pick a fight with Russia!!! Lets ee you then? I’ll just tell my son he can forget his future…

I don’t agree. And what does a man campaigning for US President have to do with Russia moving its forces into Georgia?
Oops – it was Bush who got upset because he had to delay his vacation for the Georgia thing. He blathered a bit then went on vacation.
How did he fumble the response? What was it about his condemnation of Russian that was a fumble?

i will email him and tell Obama to never take another vacation
Looks like he’s still on vacation, I was surprised that he didn’t enter the convention on a donkey with palms strewn before him.
The Messiah unfortunately has been reading his own press.
