im thinking of a place to take a 1 month vacation and well its a toss up between moscow russia or tokyo japan but i decited to post in in the japan section so you guys could please tell me the pros of japan i tihnk that if i choose japan i would be a lot happer because russia seems like very cold and sad and tokyo seems very happy and alive
but the only reason im still wanting to go to russia is because these 2 russian singers called tatu i plan to meet them

or should i just stick with tokyo were i always wanted to go

can you speak russian? even if you could meet her if she doesnt speak english and you dont speak russian i doubt it’d go very well.
and going to Japan is every anime/manga fan’s dream if you are fan I highly reccoment Japan
I’ve always wanted to visit Japan. It’s my dream destination. Russia always seems to cold to visit, but I guess it all depends on where you would feel happier. I’ve just hear from others, though, that a lot of businesses don’t welcome foreigners because of the language barrier. So if you decide to go to Japan, I would learn as much Japanese as I could before going.
DEFINITELY go to Japan instead, especially Tokyo.
It is the heart of a deep and high-tect culture, the hotels are sweet and even the public toilets and hand-driers are super cool to use.

In a month, you could visit both Japan and Moscow. It is a 10 hour flight from Tokyo to Moscow. You could spend a few weeks in Japan, then a week in Moscow before returning home.
If your goal is to meet particular famous people, you’d better plan that in advance – get an appointment with them somehow. Or find some other reasons you might like to visit Moscow – the food, the history, nightlife…
Both places. It doesnt matter if Russia is gray and cold, its an experience.

I’d choose Japan.More modern and more safe. And these two places are as different as night and day…
Russian women can be nice..but….many of them want to find some sucker to give them a free trip to America. That is unlikely to happen in Japan.

Well there are 3 negatives about going to Tokyo.
1, **** to burst your bubble but it gets very cold at this time of year and snows.
2. Tokyo is at least as expensive as visiting NYC. You’ll spend $150 a night or more for a decent hotel room.
3. There is a language barrier.
I suggest as an alternate you visit the Philippines. It’s dry season starting now and many nice Beautiful white sand beach resorts and beautiful english speaking women. Plus it’s way cheaper than both of the places you mentioned. Best Value for your $ now with the exchange rate P49 to one $. I would suggest Boracay Beach or Palawan. There are many other nice choices at.
Moscow would be great if you wanted to see the Kremlin and other Russian historical sites. Russia is quite a unique nation, but if your sole reason for wanting to go to Russia is to meet Tatu, then I think it sounds like a REALLY expensive concert. I mean, that’s the only way I can think of for you to actually see these girls. If you want to see them, you should probably look up concert dates and buy tickets to the show. Perhaps they have backstage passes or something you could look into. Then you can make your flight plans around that date.
Otherwise, how on earth do you expect to see them? It’s not like they have a post where people go to meet them. Targeting a celebrity and going to the city that they live in does NOT create very favorable odds for meeting them.
Anyways, like I said, a trip to Moscow just for that sounds like an expensive concert! I’d never do that for any singer, but if you like them that much, maybe you feel it’s worth it…
